David Griffen Photography Exhibition at The Poly - 09/08/2011
Specialist food photographer David Griffen has an exhibition at The Spring Gallery at the Poly in Falmouth to coincide with Rick Stein's cooking demo this evening, 09 August. The work will be up until next Monday 15 August. All 16" x 12" framed prints are for sale for £125 each with part of the proceeds to the Poly.
Local photographer featured in new app 'Great British Chefs' - 15/07/2011
North Cornwall photographer David Griffen's work has been featured on a new app called Great British Chefs which is available for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. David was commisioned to shoot the food for three South West Chefs; Nathan Outlaw, James Sommerin and Simon Hulstone plus London based Tom Aikens. The Times say of the new ap:
"Many dishes are quick and simple while maintaining that giddy air of Michelin stardom. It’s full of wild combinations, useful everyday techniques and genuinely brilliant, interesting recipes. And at a time of hyper-simplified home cooking, perhaps that’s no bad thing."
