Cornish crisp manufacturer, The Cornish Crisp Company, recently launched a flavour of crisps called 'The Resuscitater' dedicated to Cornwall Air Ambulance.
Every bag of the unsalted crisp variety purchased donates a penny directly to the Cornwall air ambulance.
The charity is entirely reliant upon public fundraising.
So, if like the webmaster of locally.co.uk, a friend or loved one has been air lifted by Cornwall Air Ambulance to hospital; get crunching - salt free of course!

Former Michelin-starred chef Paul Ripley, head chef of Rick Stein's Seafood Bar (above Rick Stein's Fish & Chips in Falmouth), will be hosting a series of seafood demonstration evenings in 2012.

To celebrate the appointment of their new executive head chef, Scott Young, Tregenna Castle are offering the chance to try the new menu at £48 for three courses for two people with a bottle of wine. The offer is available from Monday to Saturday from 7-9pm unti the end of March 2012.
The hotel is also offering other opportunities to enjoy Scott's menus with 'buy a lunch, get one for a penny' during the week and 'buy one get one free' cream teas between 2-5pm every day.
