A true Cornish pub built into the rocks at the entrance to the most southerly port in England, with the adjacent Smithy building making an ideal family/children’s room, as well as an outdoor area for those rain free days! The Ship Inn is one of the most child friendly pubs in Porthleven. Soak up the atmosphere of bygone days with up to the minute service and truly wonderful home made food from an extensive menu plus daily ‘specials’.

Owners Chris and Colin take pride in their pub being a chip free zone with all meals (including vegetarian dishes) cooked to order. Fresh, and wherever possible, locally bought ingredients ensure quality whilst the quantities are legendary. Wintertime can be spectacular, with the weather throwing all it can at the pub whilst inside customers can snuggle cosy and secure round real log fires. Recommended by ‘The Good Pub Guide’ for the last 25 years, the inn serves a variety of excellent real ales. Open 11.30am-11.00pm Monday-Saturday and 12.00noon-10.30pm Sunday. Food served 12noon-2.00pm and 6.30pm-9.00pm every day.
