The “Miners” is one of the few traditional Cornish pubs left untainted by the modern trend to be all things to all people.

The old world atmosphere envelopes you the moment you cross the threshold of this unique place, real beams, small rooms & low ceilings, however the pub is curiously light. Marvel at the many wall-paintings & the cheeky quotes that adorn the beams. The checkered history of the Miners could not have been scripted, a smugglers lair, a courthouse, a hang-mans billet , and once a “house of ill-repute”. Ghostly shadows have been often seen skulking throughout the pub.
