Cornwall Chough Project
The Cornwall Chough Project is a partnership between the RSPB the National Trust and Natural England. In 2001 a group of 3 choughs, most probably young birds from Brittany, took up residence on the Lizard Cornwall and bred for the first time in 2002. Since then 56 chicks have fledged from Cornish nests. In 2008 youngwere also successfully raised in West Penwith for the first time in 150 years.
