A new arts venue on The Lizard. This year is a modest beginning with a few exhibitions. Four solo shows plus a programme of workshops and other activities. A unique collection of ancient farm buildings situated on 50 acres of pasture and woodland that represent the best of the Cornish farming heritage. Open 30th May to 30th October Tuesdays to Saturdays 10am to 5pm through Bank Holidays and by appointment.

Andrew Lanyon - von Ribbentrop in St Ives - 01/10/2010
Book launch alongside a related exhibition by painter, writer and filmmaker, Andrew Lanyon. The book and exhibition 'Von Ribbentrop in St Ives' concerns the activities of Jachim Von Ribbentrop, the German Ambassador to Britain and focusses on his pre-war visits to St Ives and the effects of the war on St Ives and its artists.
New Gallery at Manaccan - 31/07/2010
Opened in May of this year, Kestle Barton gallery at Manaccan has been developed from derelict farm buildings over five years. Kestle Barton plans residencies, film evenings and curated exhibitions. ‘Undulate’, an exhibition of sculpture by Michael Chaikin opened on July 24th 2010 and will continue to 21st August. During July and August Michael is hosting two workshops suitable for 8yrs upwards. Making Mobiles on 4th August and Cardboard Creatures on 11 August. Two self-catering cottages are also available.
