It is widely thought that The Halfway House Inn at Rame Cross originates from the 16th century when it was most probably a request stop for mail and passenger stage coaches with stables and attending farrier. You can be sure of a warm and friendly welcome at this cosy hostelry which serves a variety of locally brewed award-winning beers and ales alongside its superb carvery and restaurant. Specially discounted rates are available for groups of 20 people or more (advance bookings of 24 hours or more essential). The stables were demolished in the 20th century to make way for the large car park. Coaches are welcome but please ring in advance.

Open all day 11.30am-11.00pm. Food served 12.00pm-2.30pm and 6.00pm-9.00pm. Carvery times: Monday-Saturday 6.00pm-9.00pm and Sunday 12.00pm-9.00pm.

Halfway House Under New Ownership - 17/08/2010
The new owners of the Halfway House at Rame Cross near Penryn have refurbished and are now offering a brand new menu. The pub's carvery is open 7 nights a week during the Summer months from 6pm to 9pm Mondays to Saturdays and 12 noon to 9pm on Sundays. Booking is advisable.
