Lion and Lamb in Ashton is an outstanding family run pub with a wide and rapidly growing reputation for food and real ales. Standing by the A394 between Helston and Penzance it has a warm and welcoming feel with friendly staff. There is a minimum of three real ales on tap along with a selection of lagers and ciders.

Food is an increasing part of the pub’s business with a varied menu of home cooked meals and desserts using locally sourced produce. Children can have smaller portions from the main menu and vegetarians are also catered for. The pub has been awarded the Chefs Gold Medal from Kerrier Council this year, is in the Good Food Guide and Good Beer Guide 2009/10 and is an award winner from Cask Mark for real ales. Booking is recommended for traditional Sunday lunch in the peak season. Take advantage of the two for £12.00 meals Monday – Saturday lunchtime on selected menu. Take away also available. LARGE CAR PARK AT THE REAR. The pub hosts live music on occasional Friday evenings and local choirs and singers entertain regularly. Restaurant is open 12pm – 2pm and 6pm – 9pm, bar open 12pm – 11pm. Christmas day 12pm – 2pm.
