There is a ‘farm to plate’ philosophy meaning there is little or nothing to come between you and the produce served. Oysters are grown and harvested at the historic Duchy of Cornwall Oyster Farm just around the corner, with fish, crabs and lobsters coming from local boats. The Inn’s original features have recently been given a new lease of life. The main bar, with an unrivalled view of the river has a fun, lively atmosphere. The former servery has been transformed into an oyster bar with relaxed bar seating where you can enjoy the theatre of chefs shucking oysters. For those wanting something more intimate there is a cosy dining room tucked behind the main bar. The terrace affords some of the best views in the South West and offers plenty of beachside seating for long sunny days and warm evenings. In winter you can make yourself at home in the main bar in front of an open fire or relax with the papers on a comfy sofas. Open all day seven days a week serving an all-day menu.
