The Flicka Foundation
The Flicka Foundation provides permanent sanctuary for horses and ponies who are elderly, ailing or traumatised from cruelty. The sanctuary also has some pigs, sheep and many small animals – all unwanted and ‘surplus to requirement’.
They stay for the rest of their days and no animal is ever put to sleep unless there is no other avenue to explore for their well-being.
