Truro's Tourist Information Centre is funded by the City Council and provides information on events, leisure activities and attractions for visitors and local residents. An accommodation booking service is also offered. A local accommodation booking service is offered as well as a Book-A-Bed-Ahead (BABA) service for most parts of England.
The award-winning Tourist Information Centre is in the Municipal Buildings, Boscawen Street. Come in and see our helpful, friendly staff who will be happy to provide you with:

- wide selection of gift ideas, cd?s, DVD's, calendars, maps, guides, books, stamps, walking and cycling touring guides and souvenirs
Truro is an all-year round jewel in Cornwall's crown, and nowhere is this emphasized more than during the Christmas season.
Truro's Christmas lights are the envy of towns nationwide, let alone within Cornwall, and herald a festive shopping experience second to none.
The brand new lighting scheme is funded by the local business community through its Business Impovement District - the first of its kind in Cornwall.
This year's celebrations will include a grand procession through the city, with Father Christmas being pulled on his sleigh by a team of real reindeer, and a whole host of festive street markets and entertainment to support the hugely popular late night shopping evenings that are held on Wednesdays in the run-up to Christmas. And don't forget, the Cathedral is open too, so pop in and remember the true meaning of Christmas. There are always interesting displays, including the magnificent crib scene.
