Kurt Jackson, The Dart - 20/09/2010
Lemon Street Gallery 4 September to 2 October 2010. Work in 'The Dart' exhibition has particular meaning to Kurt Jackson as it pays tribute to and celebrates the memories of his father.
In his exhibition essay, Kurt Jackson writes, 'All rivers have their own inherent narrative, but often we have stories of our own to tell about them. I grew up with my father’s memories of his evacuation from London to Dartmouth and his boyhood adventures on the Dart during the war …' Lemon Street Gallery is open Monday to Saturday, 10:30 - 5:30 and 11:00 - 4:00 on bank holidays.
