New Motor Auction Venue - 19/07/2010
Cornwall has a new car and commercial vehicle auction venue at an undercover purpose built Sale Room at Truro Market on Newquay Road, Truro Cornwall Motor Auctions is owned and operated by Lodge & Thomas, Cornwall’s oldest established firm of auctioneers, chartered surveyors and estate agents. The sale tonight starting at 6.30pm will the 5th since the auction opened in May 2010. On average there have been 15 to 20 vehicles on sale from cheap run-arounds at £100 plus to middle of the road priced vehicles at a few thousand pounds. Auctioneer Andrew Body said “the vehicles are reaching fair auction prices but for the first year we are offering very attractive entry fee charges for the trade and private vendors as well as low commission rates”. Sales will be held on the first and third Mondays of each month.
