Found in the heart of Truro and shadowed by the Cathedral, the Kathmandu Palace Nepalese and Indian Restaurant is well known for its welcoming hospitality and excellent healthy cuisine. This family run business has won many awards and is a firm local favourite for both its Restaurant and Take-Away.

The aim of Kathmandu Palace is to re-create in Truro the authentic tastes found in Nepal and to give diners an experience they will want to revisit again and again. With over 13 years experience in Nepalese cooking, the new Head Chef specialises in developing innovative and interesting dishes as well as cooking the traditional Nepalese and Indian favourites some of which are found only in the Kathmandu Palace. Lighter than its Indian counterpart, Nepalese cuisine is a combination of subtle tastes and flavours: ginger, garlic, cumin, coriander, chillies, turmeric etc. The Head Chef and his team are delighted to take time to prepare the dishes for each customer order using fresh local ingredients and the highest quality spices and herbs.
